An exclusive eco-friendly farmstay in the heart of Dharmapuri. Teak forests, fresh coconuts, homemade meals — and total silence. No crowds, no rush.
Pine & Pepper is a working family farm spread over 15 serene acres near Panchapalli Dam (Chinnar Anicut), Samanur. We grow teak, coconut, areca, mango, neem, and seasonal paddy — not for show, but because that's what we do.
We opened our gates for guests who want more than a resort — people who want to wake up to birdsong, pluck a fresh coconut, and genuinely disconnect. We keep it small: only 3 families at a time, so the experience stays personal.
No itinerary needed. Just show up and slow down.

Wander through the coconut and areca grove. Pick a fresh coconut straight from the tree — the real thing, not a resort prop.

When teaks bloom, the forest is spectacular. Even without blooms, a walk through mature teak is meditative and rare.

Watch or join seasonal farm work — paddy planting, harvest, sugarcane crushing. Real farm life, not a staged show.

Food is cooked to order using home recipes. Local produce, no fancy menu — just genuinely good, simple food.

The dam (Chinnar Anicut) is just 11 km from the farm. Quiet, scenic, uncrowded — perfect for a morning walk or sunset visit.

The famous "Niagara of India" is a 65 km drive (about 1 hour). Coracle rides, cascading falls, and the Kaveri river — an easy day excursion from the farm.
Not a resort, not a tent — clean, airy rooms that let the farm in.
King-sized beds with hand-block mandala throws. Floor-to-ceiling windows opening straight to the farm — wake up to coconut palms instead of a hotel wall.
Spacious, minimal, and designed around the farm. Big communal dining, a desk for when you can't fully unplug, and extra sofa-beds for kids or guests.
What you'll see growing when you visit.
Mature teak forest. Seasonal blooms are spectacular.
Main crop. Dense with areca as inter-crop in between.
Inter-cropped with coconut, creating a lush, dense canopy.
Several mango varieties. Seasonal fruit for guests.
Wild neem. Valuable and aromatic — and entirely natural.
An experiment — the soil isn't ideal, but we're trying.
Seasonal paddy, ragi or sugarcane. Rotated each season.
A few wild sandalwood trees — they grow on their own.
All shot on the farm — coconut groves, teak forest, the seasonal crops, and the changing light through the year.
"Serene and clean atmosphere at Pine & Pepper — has to be experienced to be believed. 15 acres all to ourselves. Exactly what our family needed."
"The food was unbelievably good — simple homemade Tamil food. Walking through the coconut grove in the morning with fresh coconut water is an experience I'll never forget."
"The drive itself is beautiful. Once you reach, you just forget everything. No phone signal issues they warned us about turned into a feature — total digital detox."
About 2 hours by road via Hosur. The last stretch through Royakotta is scenic — village roads, but fully driveable.
